Russian masculine noun declension

The Russian Case System is something new for English speakers, as there are basicly no cases in English (of course there are some examples p.e. : “whom”). Once you start learning russian, you will face to challanges, the russian cases and the russian verbs.

Yo have to learn the declension for “masculine” nouns, “feminine” nouns and “neuter” nouns. Once you learned the standard rules for declension in russian, you may start to learn the exceptions 😉

Singular Nouns in Russian

Singular – Единственное число

Example: high table

1.И.п. = высокий стол
2.Р.п. = высокого стола
3.Д.п. = высокому столу
4.В.п. = высокий стол
5.Т.п. = высоким столом
6.П.п. = о высоком столе

Plural Nouns in Russian

Plural – множественное число

Example: high tables

1.И.п. = высокие столы
2.Р.п. = высоких столов
3.Д.п. = высоким столам
4.В.п. = высокие столы
5.Т.п. = высокими столами
6.П.п. = о высоких столах
